They're about far more than woodwork. Sheds are good for wellbeing: they give people connection, purpose and a bit of banter, which matters at every stage of life. There are hundreds across the UK, and now Kirton in Lindsey is getting one of its own.
Woodwork, repairs and projects big and small.
Learn from each other, or pass on what you know.
A cuppa, a chat and a laugh along the way.
All ages and abilities. No experience needed.
We're right at the beginning. A small group of us want to create a Men's Shed for Kirton in Lindsey and the villages around it, and we're working to establish it at KLASSIC's grounds.
There's plenty to sort out, from finding members to fitting out a space, and that's where you come in. Whether you fancy joining, lending a hand, or simply want to know more, we'd love to hear from you.
We're aiming to base the Shed at KLASSIC's grounds. We'll post our meeting days and times here as soon as they're set. In the meantime, get in touch to register your interest and we'll keep you posted.
We're raising the tools, materials and a little funding to get Kirton Men's Shed off the ground. Whether you're a local business or an individual who believes in what we're building, your support goes straight into making it happen.
Sponsorship helps with the essentials: a building to call home, workbenches and tools, insurance and the materials to get making.
A one-off or regular gift, whatever you can manage.
Fund a workbench or a set of tools and we'll put your name on it.
Timber, tools, materials or a helping trade all make a real difference.
Back us from day one and we'll credit you on our wall and website.
We're a not-for-profit community project, part of the UK Men's Sheds Association movement. Get in touch and we'll happily talk through what your support could do.
